Demo 2 is the third public demo of Pizza Tower. Released 1 month after the Halloween Demo, this demo includes a remake of the level Ancient Tower (Now called Ancient), a brand new level, Factory, and challenge versions of those levels. Due to its short time of creation before release, it works very similarly to the Halloween Demo.

Upon entering the game, the player arrives at the title screen, where they can change their bindings or color palette (by pressing either or ) before starting the game.

After pressing start, the player takes control of Peppino Spaghetti. After crashing the delivery bike, he slides just outside the Pizza Tower. From here, the player can either go into the Tutorial level to learn some important moves, or go straight into one of the two levels this build has to offer.

Inside either of the levels, the player has to collect five Toppins hidden throughout the first two floors. On the third floor, the toppins have to be fed to Pillar John so that he lets Peppino pass him. Behind John is the room with the Noise Satellite, which the player has to break. After that, The Noise comes in with a detonator and activates Pizza Time, and the player has to run back to the beginning of the tower, escape and get the rank for the tower's completion.

Optionally, there are pizza coins the player can collect. Collecting five in each level unlocks the challenge version of that level. These challenges are levels which have a strict time limit and utilize Transformations used in the original level. Upon beating the challenge, the Tower Secret Treasure can be collected.

Mechanics

This build has only one change in regard to mechanics since the last one. Now, after picking up a bomb, Peppino can throw it away.

Revisional changes

A total of four builds were released to the public, compiled in the span of two days, between December 5th and 6th, 2018. They include almost no gameplay changes, except the Ancient challenge level in the 2_3 version of the build. In it, in the last Knight challenge room, the second pillar has been made taller to make it easier to see.

  • The Ancient level contains assets that would go on to be used in John Gutter, Pizzascape and Ancient Cheese.
  • The background, as seen in the last room of each level, is the same image as in the secret rooms for Early Test Build.
  • If the player keeps to the right side of the final room while breaking the Noise Satellite, it is possible to see the Noise spawn in before Peppino teleports back into the center of the room, where the Noise will be just barely out of sight.
  • The Noise can now be defeated by slapping him after he activates Pizza Time.
  • Even after all Coin Doors are unlocked, Pizza Coins still can be collected.
  • All the levels included in Demo 2 were designed by Darkonius Mavakar.
