Fake Santa

Fake Santa is an enemy in Pizza Tower, first debuting in Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator.

Description

Fake Santa, as the name suggests, is a person imitating Santa Claus. He wears a jetpack to fly around, carries a large sack, and has a crazed look on his face.

Behaviour

Upon spawning, Fake Santa tries to hover above the player, and from time to time and with available space, drops presents containing Snowmen onto them. He cannot be hurt directly, but the player can get rid of him by either leaving the room, throwing an enemy at him, or using a Super Taunt (which is the only way to defeat him if the player has the Pepper Pizza transformation).

Trivia

• In Eggplant, Fake Santa could only be killed with the Super Taunt, and he did not have a defeat sprite. Instead, the first frame of the flying animation would be used.
• Fake Santa's behavior is seemingly based on Lakitu from the Super Mario series, evidenced by concept art of Fake Santa claiming he's "worse than Lakitu".
• The concept art shows that Fake Santa was originally planned to throw presents with Outlets instead of Snowmen.
• In the Rework build, Fake Santa uses a placeholder Forknight sprite and he appears in the foreground instead of background.
