Pizza Tower Wiki:Code of Conduct

These are guidelines one must follow if they choose to contribute to the Pizza Tower Wiki.
Behavior
On top of Miraheze's Global Conduct Policy and the Miraheze Spaces Code of Conduct, users must comply with the following behavioural policy:
- Be respectful!
- Assume good faith of other users. Mistakes are bound to happen; let the user know of the mistake politely.
- Refrain from using slurs, especially directed towards other users.
- Vandalizing the wiki is forbidden.
- Vandalism is purposely inserting misinformation, nonsense, and unrelated content on any article. Joke edits fall under this category as well.
- Sockpuppetry, the act of creating multiple accounts for use on the wiki, is strictly not allowed.
- No plagiarism.
- Using something as a reference is fine, but directly copying is forbidden.
- Do not take part in edit wars.
- Disagreements should be discussed on their relevant talk pages.
- Use talk pages for discussing article content and modifications.
- Fandom is infamous for using talk pages as discussion for the topic, instead of the article. Avoid using it like this.
Administrative Action
Incidents are ruled on a case-by-case basis by the Pizza Tower Wiki Administration. Generally, a three strike system is utilized:
- 1st incident leads to a three day block.
- 2nd incident results in a block for a week.
- 3rd incident may vary: a block for a year, or an indefinite block.
This system is flexible depending on the severity of a given situation. Some violations will immediately result in a permanent block.
Appeal
If one believes to be punished in mistake, the user may appeal by contacting administration. Nothing is guaranteed, however.
Article Content
Grammar
This wiki uses Canadian English, which means a variety of spellings found in both American English and European English are acceptable. However, the wiki tends to favor certain spellings compared to others. For example:
Preferred | Alternate |
---|---|
Behaviour | Behavior |
Tire | Tyre |
Airplane | Aeroplane |
Using the wrong spelling is not punishable, but it is important to keep in mind.
Objectivity and Point of View
This wiki avoids usage of first and second person pronouns. Instead of using "you" and "yourself," use "the player" and gender-neutral pronouns. Alongside this, do not inject personal opinions into articles. It undermines the objectivity of the information.
Leaks Regarding Future Content
There may be instances where potential content for future projects relating to Pizza Tower and its characters spread in spaces online. It is not this wiki's responsibility to document said leaks until after time passes and they are confirmed, without a doubt, they are real. Even if speculation leads to a widespread notion that the material is official, until there is a definitive statement, any leaks about future content are forbidden and not permitted on the wiki.
This does not mean leaks about the development of Pizza Tower is off limits. As long as it is confirmed and it is not about future content, it may be documented on the wiki.
