Notes: Describe what has changed from rework.

Playtestin (stylized as Playtestin') is a Pizza Tower build designed to improve on the heavily critizied Rework build. The build was never released, and it has never been leaked, thus resulting in a lack of information about it. The youtuber TetraBitGaming has access to the build, but refuses to share the files[1]. Playtesters describe the build as similar to the Eggplant build[2]. Notably, the build also reworked some tilesets.[3]

Differences

  • An early version of Peppibot Factory with different tiles is in this build.
  • The combo meter fill icon is purple instead of yellow; this purple variant was reused in The Noise Update.[4]
  • The combo meter appears to the left of the TV instead of below it.
  • Metal Blocks appear as recolored brick blocks.[5]
  • The sprite for the collision block was changed to the way it is seen in the final game.
  • In the v1 version, there is no Uppercut.[6]
  • In the v1 version, the Dive Bomb is present but it's activated by pressing down two consequitive times.[7]
  • The roll has been described to feel similar to the Rework build.[8]

Gameplay

  • The P-rank is present.[9]
  • This is the last build where Gerome could only be collected in the escape sequence, after this he was changed to be how he was in the final release.
  • Wallrunning has been reworked from the Rework Build, it now works similar to the Eggplant Build.
