Fake Peppino

Fake Peppino, or Salvation Army Peppino according to The Basement Boys, is an enemy in Pizza Tower that only appears to hinder your progress when it's Pizza Time, by trying to grab you. If he does, he'll strike you with his toxic tongue. He also always chases after you, so you can't hide from him. You can only run from him. He appears more lanky and tall than Peppino himself.

Fake Peppino also appears in Peppino's Xmas Break as a decoration for Strongcold. In it, he wears what appears to be a Santa hat while ringing a bell in his hand, with a bucket near him, appearing to be homeless and asking for change, likely a nod to how the levels he appears in are not found the in the current demo.

Usages

In the GolF demo

As a secret keybind, the player can press F9 to summon a Fake Peppino at their location. They will try to attack the player and hinder their escape.

Restored

Fake Peppino appears during the escape, just like in GOLF. You can be attacked by him 5 times until you die. On the fifth hit, any Toppins will switch to their panicked animation.

Early 2020 Patreon Demos

Fake Peppino acts the same as he did since GOLF, expect getting grabbed and tongued by him even once instead of attacked hit, it's a Knockout!
