== Description ==
Pizza Portal is a giant floating pepperoni pizza.

== Behavior ==
Pizza Portal becomes active only during [[Pizza Time]]. If the player runs into it when it's active, it'll take them back to where the [[Pillar John]] was, starting a new lap, as well as giving 3000 [[Pizza Points]] and changing the music from "It's Pizza Time!" to "The Death That I Deservioli". Starting a new lap also respawns any clock and bell pickups, as well as making new enemies spawn. [[Breakable Block]]s do not appear again.

Pizza Portals are unlocked in a [[List of levels|level]] by either beating it for the first time, or by completing the [[Tutorial]] in under 1 minute 45 seconds, which unlocks all Pizza Portals right from the get-go.

== Trivia ==
* Pizza Portals are a replacement for the Lap 2 mechanic in [[Early Test Build]], where by heading back to the treasure room will award the player with 200 points, and also count to an S [[Ranks|rank]].
*One of the requirements that needs to be met in order to obtain a P rank in levels which have a Pizza Portal is by going through them and entering Lap 2.
* In the [[SAGE 2019 Demo]], if the camera is moved down in the hub, a giant Pizza Portal can be seen right under where the drop to the Tutorial is.
*Due to [[WAR]] having no Pillar John, instead the Pizza Portal takes the player to a unique room only accessable during Lap 2, containing 5 War Terminals to extend the timer by 2:30 and a door leading back to the start of the level. The music also does not change.
*In [[Demo 2]], after completing any Challenge Level, If the player enters the portal, it will be sent back to the title screen.
*In the Halloween Demo and the Tester Build, the Pizza Portal can be seen at the last tutorial section, When the player enters it, it'll be sent to an early [[Halloween Demo|Ancient]] Level
