Upon touch while normally walking to it, Dash Pad will get the player immediately running in Mach 3. But if the player was running towards Dash Pad, it would instead make them running in Mach 4. |

Dash Pads will increase the player's speed to Mach 3 if they touch them. The player is not locked into this speed, so if they don't hold the dash button they will decelerate out of Mach 3 immediately. Dash Pads have many applications, but typically they are used to more easily get the player out of situations where dashing at Mach 3 is needed to progress. |

Description
Dash Pads are small grey conveyor belts, with a sign with flashing red and white arrows mounted on them.
Behaviour
Upon touch while normally walking to it, Dash Pad will get the player immediately running in Mach 3. But if the player was running towards Dash Pad, it would instead make them running in Mach 4.
