The Wasteyard is the 7th level of Pizza Tower and second level of the Weird West, labelled as the "cowboy level" as placeholder early in development. After Peppino and The Noise escape the desert, they arrive in a graveyard not far from said desert. The level is more puzzle and exploration based until the escape timer happens, in which it switches to be more action based than puzzle based.

Escape Time Limit: 4:00

The music that plays in this level is "YeeHaw DeliveryBoy" which is composed by Frostix.

New Transformations

Ghost Peppino: This transformation will allow Peppino to fly and phase through outlets and cheese graters. This transformation will activate when shot by a Ranch Shooter. The transformation will end when the player runs into a grave (which were heavy objects as placeholders), in which they'll be brought back to life.

Shotgun: Peppino can equip this weapon to shoot specific blocks that he can't otherwise. The "bullets" act similarly to the Firemouth projectile, but shoots three at a time. The transformation will end if the player goes through a metal detector, in which the shotgun will be dropped.

Enemies

Ranch Shooter: Once spotting Peppino, he will quickly try to shoot Peppino with his pistol. If Peppino is hit, he will die and turn into a ghost.

Bandito Chicken: Sleeps in place, but when approached wakes up and runs away the player, dropping bones behind.

Kentucky Kenny: Throws hot chicken wings that, when touched, puts the player into the Firemouth transformation.

Tribe Cheese: Acts similarly to a Forknight, but when he sees the player, he jumps towards them.

Trivia

  • A very unfinished version of this level was playable in the "graveyard test" build, but it was too buggy so the download was removed. The Finished Version Is Shown Here.
  • The room "Chewing Ass" is either a possible nod to the "It's time to kick gum and chew ass" video on Youtube, or more likely, the quote from Demo 1 when you get a shotgun, which was "It's time to chew ass." Both of these quotes are nods to the famous Duke Nukem quote: "It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum. And I'm all out of gum."
