Ranks

Ranks are final badges for completing a stage. They can be altered depending on your actions.

Ranks

D-Rank

D-Ranks are usually given out when Peppino/The Noise has been hit a bunch of times, they complete the stage with low points, or the escape timer has finished and the player completes the stage with low points.

Peppino would sarcastically congratulate the player and say "Good job, that was Awful!" (AWFUL)

The Noise would be angered, hence the appearance. (DIE)

C-Rank

C-Ranks are usually given out when Peppino/The Noise were hit plenty of times, they complete a stage with a mediocre amount of points, or the timer has finished and they still have points to spare.

Peppino would look tired and say "That was Bad!" (BAD)

The Noise would just stare at you..angrily. (CRAP)

B-Rank

B-Ranks are usually given out when the player(s) were hit not too many times, they complete the stage with a wealthy amount of points, or they complete the stage in time.

Peppino would say "Oh, OK!" with a surprised face. (OK)

The Noise would ignorantly raise his hand and just say "Eh." (BAD, DO BETTER!)

A-Rank

A-Ranks are usually given out when the player(s) make the times they get hit to a minimum, they complete the stage with a bunch of points, or they complete the stage pretty fast.

Peppino would do a thumbs up with a smile and say "Very Nice!" (NICE)

The Noise would sip a soda with sunglasses and say "Not an S..." (NOT AN S)

S-Rank

S-Ranks are given out when the player(s) don't get hit at all, they get EVERY source of points on the stage, meaning they also need every secret, and they complete the stage faster than they needed to in A-Rank.

Peppino would raise his arms in joy and, by his appearance, scream in joy, as well. (PERFECT)

The Noise would gasp in amazement over the player's achievement. (PERFECT)

Trivia

• Snick doesn't get ranks, possibly because of the point-health system. In fact, the game cuts right back to the lobby screen.
