someone's really gotta rip the sprites from byoc and put em on the gallery, if people can do it for maurice they can do it for mr main character...

Mach scale

Can we reach a general consensus for the Mach Run measurements on this page? Right now, there's two different scales in the larger community:

1. The "internal" scale, which this page seems to use at the moment; Mach 1 (starting to build speed) starts immediately after pressing down the Mach Run button, maxing out at Mach 4 (the "crazy run").
2. The revised scale, which forgoes Mach 1 and shifts every stage after it a number back (making Mach 1 the moderate dash and Mach 3 the maximum). This one's actually mentioned in the page's Trivia section, though strangely not used.

i personally prefer the internal scale. it makes more sense to me since its reffed in the code and it associates different running sprites with each phase. not sure where the 2nd scale ever came from, and personally its more confusing for me. not sure where everyone else stands with it though SuperKirbylover (talk) 17:21, 7 October 2023 (UTC)

The internal scale is the one that I see used the most often by players, speedrunners, and so on, so I think it is the one that we should use unless there is a large community/terminology shift. Pinky G. Rocket (talk) 17:31, 7 October 2023 (UTC)

So is Peppino a war veteran or not?

I heard from some sources that he was supposed to be a war veteran and I heard from others that it was retconned. I didn't see anything about it on the page for Ol' Mr. Spaghetti. Can anyone help me out? MattExists (talk) 14:18, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
