Description
Doors have different sprites for each floor:
- Floor One doors have a frame with purple bricks around them.
- Floor Two doors have a wooden frame with sand pebbles by them.
- Floor Three doors have a red and white striped pattern.
- Floor Four doors have a white frame, a light brown door and a purple doorknob.
- Floor Five doors have more worn down and lighter colored wooden frame.
There are also some other door sprites:
- In WAR, there's a metal splitting door.
- On each floor, there's a white chef hat door that turns golden once all Chef Tasks of a world are completed (excluding P ranks).
- On the final floor, there's a metal door with a small Pizzaface on the top of it.
Behavior
Doors act as a pathway to another room.
In the WAR level, there's a door only accessible during Lap 2.
In the hub, there are Chef Room doors to the world's respective chef tasks.
When buying the final boss gate, a small door appears rather than the gate to the bossfight.
Trivia
- In older demos, doors would have a glowing light that would disappear once the room had been entered.
- The golden door has had different purposes in different demos, such as being a door to the secret treasure in very old demos, and as a special door for Snick's Challenge.
- The pepper doors were used for a scrapped chase section of the unused Mansion level, where the player would be chased by Pepperman.
