Lap 2 Portal is an object in Pizza Tower.
Description
Lap 2 Portal is a giant pepperoni pizza floating vertically.
Behavior
The Lap 2 Portal is only active during Pizza Time. If the player runs into it while it is active, it will start a new lap by teleporting them back Pillar John's previous location, giving the player 3000 Pizza Points, and changing the music to the appropriate Lap 2 soundtrack. Starting a new lap also refreshes any clock and bell pickups, alongside respawning enemies exclusive to Pizza Time. Breakable Blocks do not respawn.
Lap 2 Portals are unlocked in a level by either beating it for the first time or completing the Tutorial in under 1 minute and 45 seconds, which unlocks Lap 2 Portals in all levels.

- Because WAR does not have Pillar John, the Lap 2 Portal takes the player to a unique room only accessible through the portal. It contains 5 War Terminals to extend the timer by two minutes and thirty seconds, and a door leading back to the start of the level. The music does not change.
- One of the requirements to obtain a P rank in nearly all levels is to enter the Lap 2 Portal.
- The only stages that do not require this are The Crumbling Tower of Pizza and Secrets of The World, as both stages lack a Lap 2 Portal and thus a way to access Lap 2.
- Lap 2 Portals are a replacement for the Lap 2 mechanic in Early Test Build, where heading back to the treasure room will award the player with 200 points and count to an S-Rank.
- In the SAGE 2019 Demo, if the camera is moved down in the hub, a giant Lap 2 Portal can be seen right under where the drop to the Tutorial is.
- In Demo 2, after completing any Challenge Level, if the player enters the portal, they will be sent back to the title screen.
- In the Halloween Demo and the Tester Build, the Lap 2 Portal can be seen at the last tutorial section. When the player enters it, they will be sent to an early Ancient Level.
