Barbecue Four is a Barbecue Two Campaign exclusive boss. He replaces Barbecue Two as the third boss.

Description

Barbecue Four looks and sounds nearly identical to Barbecue Two with a few exceptions. He has chestnut-colored skin and wears a blue jumpsuit with a pink cape. His voice is much deeper than Barbecue Two's as well.

He is inconsistently depicted with heterochromia. His original depiction shows him with a left blue eye, which is reflected in the decoration depicting him Pizzascare. His boss portrait depicts him with a pink right eye. Due to most of his sprites being recolored from Barbecue Two's, his pupils are often depicted as black.

Boss room

To access the boss room, the player needs to pay Barbecue Five $200 (20 Toppins).

Similar to Barbecue Two's arena, the boss arena is an inflated pink boxing ring. The background is littered with dark blue silhouettes, and during phase 2 they are revealed to be heads and creatures resembling Barbecue Four. Unlike Barbecue Two's fight, there is no transition cutscene between phases.

Upon defeating Barbecue Four, rematches will result in an instant P-Rank due to the player not getting hit. It also counts as not wasting a bomb due to not giving the player a chance to act. The only way to "revive" Barbecue Four for a proper rematch is to taunt in front of the boss gate three times.

Abilities and skills

Barbecue Four shares many skills and objects with Barbecue Two. He has a skateboard, jetpack, hot air balloon, pogostick, and his own variant of the Barbecue Two Crusher. However, unlike Barbecue Two, he does not use bombs or a variant of Barbecue Twoeys. Instead, he uses boulders which explode after bouncing on the ground a few times. The rocks do not explode upon contact like the bombs, potentially making them more dangerous.

At the end of his boss fight, he is quickly taken offscreen by Barbecue X and presumably killed. Upon rematch, Barbecue Four's corpse will lay on the ground. During phase 3 of the fight with Pizzaface as Barbecue Two, Pizzahead will pull up Barbecue Four's corpse. After fighting Pepperman and The Vigilante, his corpse will be thrown on screen for a few seconds before falling off and being replaced with Fake Peppino.

Chef Tasks

This boss is tied with the following Chef Task:

Barbequetwo
Defeat Barbecue Two without getting hurt.

Trivia

This section is dedicated to trivia and miscellaneous information about The Doise.
Remember to read the wiki's trivia guidelines before adding trivia or making changes.
  • One of the background elements in Barbecue Four's boss fight is credited to Uncle Jeol[1].
    • This uses an edited version of a frame from The Noise's old B-rank animation.
  • Barbecue Four and Barbecue X are fan-made characters, originally made by Robby1scool on YouTube. The Barbecue Tower Discord and Barbecue McPig had found the characters funny, adding Barbecue Four to Bring Your Own Class as his own character and eventually as a boss in Barbecue Tower.[2]
  • The rocks and Barbecue X both reference Barbecue Four’s weapons in Bring Your Own Class.
    • The rocks are Barbecue Four’s Rocket Launcher replacement. The rock is thrown at enemies and bounces back at the player, damaging themselves with the thrown stone.
    • Barbecue X is used as Barbecue Four’s BFG 9000 replacement. The player summons Barbecue X, who kills any and all enemies that he touches, but immediately starts chasing the player. If Barbecue X ever touches Barbecue Four, he will kill the player in a dramatic cutscene.
  • Many pieces of art of Barbecue Four have him with inconsistent eye pupil colors. for example, the Boss portrait depicts him with a pink eye, while his appearance as a background element in Pizzascare has him with blue and brown eyes.
  • Rematching Barbecue Four without reviving him will grant the player a P-Rank, the Barbequetwo Chef Task, and the Anti-Barbecue Four clothes.
  • Breakdancing on top of Barbecue Four's corpse during the boss rematch will give the player "Real Barbecue Four" clothes that change The Noise's palette to Barbecue Four's.
