Assets

Name Behavior First seen First demo

Picture Notes
Door A pathway from one room to another. Tutorial Preearlytestbuild
Enemy Spawner Infinitely spawns certain enemies or projectiles one after the other. Mostly used for situations where a certain enemy or projectile is absolutely required to pass. Tutorial Demo 1
File:Spr baddiespawner.gif
There's an unused aggressive red version, which would have likely spawned enemies much faster or spawn more than one enemy at a time.
Pizza Box Gives a Toppin when opened. Entrance Preearlytestbuild
Originally just gave Complete Pizzas, worth 100 Pizza Points.
Key Door A pathway from one room to another locked by a key found elsewhere. Pizzascape Preearlytestbuild
Sword Stone Activates the Knight transformation. Pizzascape Preearlytestbuild
Pizza Cutter Constantly spins from a set point, hurting the player on contact Bloodsauce Dungeon Demo 1
Boiling Sauce Activates the Firebutt transformation. Bloodsauce Dungeon SAGE 2019 Demo
Free Milk Stand Ends the Firemouth transformation. Oregano Desert desert_playtest
Pizzamart Acts as an enterable building. Oregano Desert SAGE 2019 Demo
In the SAGE 2019 Demo, there was a Pizzamart found in each level. Each of them held two Pay Blocks allowing the player to purchase two shotguns for four Pizza Coins each. This was scrapped along with Pizza Coins, though Pizzamart was eventually moved as a setpiece in Oregano Desert.
Metal Detector Removes the player's shotgun when passed through. The Wasteyard Westernbuildv1
Cheese Grater A wall that can only be passed through by the Ghost transformation The Wasteyard Westernbuildv1
Tombstone Ends the Ghost transformation. The Wasteyard Westernbuildv1
Can be grabbed and thrown, often used for puzzles. Has a brown variant that cannot be thrown.
Well Activates the Mort transformation. Fun Farm Westernbuildv1
Mort jumping from the Well is a reference to how he starts every level in his game.
Teleporter Pizza Teleports the player to its dedicated Teleporter Machine. Space Pinball Westernbuildv1
Timed Gate A harmful gate that only opens up when a Time Button is pressed, closing up again when the timer is up. Space Pinball Westernbuildv1
Goblinbot A robotic version of the Pepperoni Goblin that, when touched, launches the player in their Ball form in the direction it's facing. Space Pinball Westernbuildv1
Balloon Bounces the player upward on contact, popping it before a bit for it reappears. Pineapple Beach BeachandForestv1
Dash Pad A pad that makes the player instantly reach Mach 3 after walking on it. Pineapple Beach Demo 1
Water Works near identically to Boiling Sauce, but it does not have any fire-related properties and can be dashed on if the player is at Mach 3 or higher. Small sources of water work differently, removing any transformation the player is currently under the influence of. Pineapple Beach BeachandForestv1
In the very first builds, the player could actually swim inside water.

The reason that the player quickly jumps up into the air upon touching the water at Mach 2 or lower is because a Piraneapple attempts to bite them, which can be seen jumping out.

Water Currents Push the player in one direction uncontrollably. Pineapple Beach BeachandForestv1
Cannon Goblinbot A robotic version of the Cannon Pizza Goblin that automatically shoots bombs forward at intervals. Pineapple Beach BeachandForestv1
Big Mushroom Bounces the player high into the air. Gnome Forest BeachandForestv1
Taxi Entering it will bring the player back to its matching Stop Sign. Gnome Forest Peppino's Xmas Break
In earlier builds, it worked the same as a Teleporter Pizza, sending the player back to a point in the same room. It is now used to teleport through multiple rooms.
Purple Trash Pan Invincible version of the Trash Pan. It infinitely launches cheeseballs that activate the Cheeseball transformation. Sewer Patreon Builds
Sewer Pipes Going inside pipes makes the player travel across them. Sewer April 2021 Build
Cheese Blob Maker Infinitely drops cheese blobs that activate the Sticky Cheese transformation. Factory Demo 2
Clown tent Starts Clown transformation. Mansion April 2021 Build
Bowling Ball Stuns the player for a short bit if it falls on top of them during Cheese Dragon boss fights. Dragon Lair Demo 1
These once hanged in place before dropping down on the player when they got too close.
Taunt Ramp When ran off of, causes a taunt counter to appear above the player's head. While airborne, taunting causes this counter to go up by 1, though it doesn't do anything else. The counter disappears when you hit the ground. City April 2021 Hotfix

Currently Unused

This is a list of all the unused blocks. Note that some will be used in the future, but for now they're unused. This also doesn't count restored levels. These are unused in the current vanilla demo.

Name Behavior First seen First demo appearance Picture Notes
Super Spring Sends the player into a super jump when touched. Ancient Demo 1
Was reused as Present.
Boulder Falls down once the player steps under it before rolling in one direction, squishing the player and sending them through semisolid platforms below. Oregano Desert desert_playtest
These once only started rolling during the escape, and had Noise Dynamites appear next to them. Were replaced by Meatball Boulders.
Corn Ends the Mort transformation. Acts as a physical barrier before Mort pecks at it. Fun Farm Westernbuildv1
Was meant to be in, but was removed due rehaul of Mort transformation.
Skateboard Continuously pushes the player forward, simply turning around at walls. Can only be stopped by taking damage. Mansion Preearlytestbuild
Was meant to be in, but was replaced by Clown transformation.
Pepper Pizza When consumed by the player, they will have the ability to immediately reach Mach 4 the moment they dash. Space April 2021 Build
Was meant to be in, but was replaced by Rocket transformation.
obj_spring A 1 tile block that sends the player upward. None Preearlytestbuild A very early version of the Super Spring or Tomato block object.
Spike An early version of the Outlet, hurting the player on contact. Ancient Demo 0
The Outlet is known as "obj_spike" in the files, confirming that this is an early version of it.
Glass Case A case for Tower Secret Treasures that would initiate the escape sequence before Pillar John was created. Ancient Demo 0
Pay Block Allows the player to pay Pizza Coins for a shotgun. Pizzascape (older builds) Demo 1
File:Pay Block.png
These were scrapped due to Pizza Coins being scrapped as well.
Washing Machine Used by The Noise in earlier builds to destroy Metal Blocks, as he couldn't gain enough speed normally to break them. Freezer (older builds) Patreon Builds
The washing machine was also going to be used as a grappling hook for The Noise, but this was scrapped.
Falling Debris Works the same as Bowling Ball, except appears only during Pizza Time. The Ancient Cheese SAGE 2019 Demo v10
Was used only in SAGE 2019 Demo v10 and nowhere else.
Snowman Block A block that resets the entire level if touched. Christmas Race Build level Christmas Race Build

Joke block that wasn't meant to be in the game.
Checkpoint Saves progress if the player so happens to fail Pizza Time or an enemy gauntlet. Entrance BeachandForestv1
Was used for one build and then removed due being useless, as failing Pizza Time resets the amount of toppins the player has and timers for enemy gauntlets were removed too.
Breakable Tv A tv that contains 2 pizza slices, can only be destroyed by a grab Oregano Desert Patreon Builds
Pepper Block Can only be destroyed by Pepperman's shoulder dash. TBA SAGE 2019 Demo
Was originally going to appear in a Pepperman boss fight in Mansion. It is currently unknown where it will appear (if it will appear at all).

Trivia

  • The large pizza block didn't hold pizza slices, but instead complete pizzas in Demo 0. This was changed when the health bar was scrapped, as the pizza slices once acted as health pick-ups.
  • The John blocks had a much different look in Demo 0, being themed after a Weenie instead of Pillar John.
  • If the player were to look into the files of game, it's revealed that the outlet's filename in the "Game Objects" tab is obj_spike, likely meaning that the spike's graphics were replaced by the outlets, but the filename wasn't changed.
