Description

Brick's Cousins are stupid, fat idiots blocking your path

Pin Brick's Cousins are similar, but shaped like bowling pins with two pink stripes. These can also be small.

Behavior

Brick's Cousins block the way at certain parts in a level, and can only be defeated using transformations and projectiles (though not all of them work). Despite being more of a level asset, it adds to combos like enemies. Pin stupid rats can be destroyed with the ball transformation (unlike regular ones). Bumping into a Stupid Rat while grabbing or running will make the player slightly bounce off.

Trivia

• Before the Rework Build, Brick's Cousins had a different function. It would block the path until the player delivers pizza to a gnome.
  • Brick's Cousins replaced all of the transformation-specific blocks in the Rework Build.
  • In the Rework build, some Brick's Cousins would still function that way. These were removed in the Eggplant Build.
• There were supposed to be more counterparts corresponding to specific transformations, but they go unused.
• Brick's Cousins emit a quiet sniffing sound.
• Gustavo is played as a duo with Brick
• Brick's Cousins appear in some level title cards and backgrounds.
• Brick's Cousins have a similar function to Prince Froggy from Wario Land 3.
• In Don't Make A Sound, babi cousins can be found moving or eating a slice of pizza. They only exist as a decoration, and don't interact with the player in any way.
• Pizzahead can throw a Cousin during the 2nd phase of his boss fight.
• In The Pig City, there are Rat Balloons that look very similar to Brick's Cousins but are round and blue.
• Brick's Cousins appears playable in a DOOM mod called “Bring Your Own Class”, spitting up projectiles and using various objects like cheese and Rat Balloons to fight demons.
• In the Rework build, some levels have small Stupid Rats stacked on top of each other.
• In the Rework build, one of the Flush cards was Brick's Cousins nose.
