Deep-Dish 9

Deep-Dish 9 is the eleventh level in Pizza Tower, and the third level of the Vacation Resort.

This level takes place in space, throughout a large spaceship, a grassy planet inhabited by sentient alien olives, and a planet made out of cheese. Its titlecard depicts Peppino in an astronaut outfit in the depths of space, driving an awkward spaceship labeled "Peppino Pizza 3000", as he fights several strange-looking aliens while delivering pizzas.

In the third room of the grassy planet section, behind a Stupid Rat, breakable with a Rocket transformation from the previous room.

Treasure

In the first room, during Pizza Time, on the right side of the room. The Tower Secret Treasure is an olive sandwich.

Secret Eyes

Secret Eye 1

In the third room, in its room, accessible through breaking the Fake Wall on the left.


In this secret room, the player bounces on a series of small blocks with an Anti-gravitational Olive.

Secret Eye 2

In the third room of the grassy planet section in the top of the room, accessible through the Anti-gravitational Olive at the bottom of the room.


In this secret room, the player uses the Rocket transformation to dodge the terrain and collect Pizza Points.

Secret Eye 3

In the second Rocket transformation segment, during Pizza Time, in a Fake Wall blocked by an Asteroid, right behind where the rocket is located.


In this secret room, the player must use Teleporter Pizzas to build momentum to smash through Metal Blocks.

Pizza Tower Guy

Pizza Tower Guy

In the fifth room, to the right of the Tomato Toppin next to the Anti-gravitational Olive. The player must reach this area within a minute in order to see him, and he disappears when approached.

Man Meteor
Kill 5 UFOlives in a single bodyslam in Deep Dish Nine.
Turbo Tunnel
Avoid hitting the ceiling during the room right after the John Pillar in Deep Dish Nine.

  • The level's name is a play-on-words of deep-dish pizza and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
    • It may have also been a reference to Star Trekkin' by The Firm. A part of Star Trekkin' includes a pizza spaceship.
  • This level was at first titled Space in April 2021 Build before getting its final name.
    • The final name was originally planned to be "Olive Intergalactic". However, during one of McPig's development streams, a Twitch user suggested a different name, which ended up sticking.
  • This level was supposed to be the first level where you can only play as one character, that being the Noise; however that was scrapped.
  • The green alien decoration was originally part of an old mechanic, where the player would deliver a pizza to the alien's door.
  • The grey alien decoration was originally part of an unused mechanic, where they would follow the player after picking them up.
  • The third secret is possibly inspired by the "Thinking with Teleporters" section in the unused Space Pinball level.
  • In the Chef Tasks, this level was alternatively stylized as Deep-Dish Nine.
