Clothes

From Pizza Tower Wiki

Clothes are secret unlockables in Pizza Tower that apply certain colors or patterns to the outfits worn by Peppino, Gustavo, Fake Peppino, The Noise, and Noisey throughout the game. There are 41 clothes in total. The game only lists the amount of them unlocked, but the unlock methods are never mentioned until they are unlocked. Clothes are also global unlocks, meaning that they become available on all save files after being unlocked once, but as such won't affect the Tower Status.

Trivia

This section is dedicated to trivia and miscellaneous information about Clothes.
Remember to read the wiki's trivia guidelines before adding trivia or making changes.
  • In the files of the game, the color yellow (hex code #FFFF40) is used for all of the images where the clothes' color/pattern would be. The yellow is replaced with the color/pattern in-game. This is so that Peppino's eyes and teeth stay white when he changes his clothes.
  • The SAGE Blue outfit first appeared in the SAGE 2019 Demo as a reference to Sonic the Hedgehog. Its unlock requirement further references the character, and its name also references the demo.
  • The Dark Cook outfit makes the boss fights harder, as the full health icons will look identical to the empty ones, making it harder for the player to tell how much health they have left.
    • Specifically, the Fake Peppino boss fight is made significantly more difficult as the clones will look identical to Fake Peppino.
    • This may be intentional as Dark Cook is obtained through beating all the bosses without taking damage.
  • Through save file editing, it is possible to give Peppino transparent clothes. (This can also happen if one was wearing clothes added in a mod, then deactivated that mod.)
  • If the player forces the game to close when playing WAR for the first time, such as by pressing Alt + F4, this is not counted as a loss and the level can be retried to unlock the War Camo outfit.
    • Similarly, if the game is closed during the credits after The Crumbling Tower of Pizza, the Pizzaface boss fight and escape sequence can be completed again to unlock the PP Shirt without having to do a full second playthrough.
  • The Garish Cook outfit may be a reference to Peddito.
  • The Noise TV costume cannot be obtained in John Gutter due to the combo meter not reaching 50 or higher until Pizza Time begins, wherein The Noise's television animations are replaced.
    • Due to the combo starting in Pizza Time, the Noise TV costume cannot be obtained in The Crumbling Tower of Pizza either.
  • The Real Doise, Fast Porcupine and Forest Goblin are the only outfits in the game that change the player's skin color, those being brown, purple and green, respectively.
  • Fast Porcupine refers to Snick, and also is the only returning outfit from Noise's Hardoween.
  • The Noise's boombox is also affected by the current outfit.
