Collectables

The first Toppin is in the second room, being right above the entrance to the room out in the open.

The second Toppin is in front of the Priest in the first Ghost transformation room. It is impossible to miss.

The third Toppin is located in the first room of the cave section of the level, being right on the floor in the player's path.

The fourth Toppin is behind a breakable block after the third Ghost section (where the second secret is). After clearing Peppino's ghost form, the Toppin will be visible on the left wall.

The last Toppin is in the player's path when running in the previously inaccessible hallway area during Pizza Time. It cannot be skipped.

Gerome is located in the first room of the cave section of the level, near the Tomato Toppin. Just above the Tomato Toppin is a string of rocky decals on the wall that can be run through, leading to Gerome. The is in a hidden wall indicated by rocky decals directly left of the door that the player exits from in the cave room following the room with the Sausage Toppin.

Secrets

In the third room, right near the entrance, the player needs to run up the rightmost wall and then grab through a Breakable Block near the ceiling to get to the secret. In this secret, the player chases multiple Bandito Chickens.

In the third Ghost section, there is a grater lodged in the right wall. Phasing through this grater with a full-speed Ghost will allow the player to reach the secret. The player will regain the Ghost form and full speed after clearing it. In this secret, the player kills Bandito Chickens with Ghost Peppino.

The third secret is accessible during Pizza Time. Once the player leaves the cave area through the warp box, they must run to the left as if progressive the level proper. There is bunch of now-deactivated John Blocks on the ceiling. The player needs to super jump or wall run into them to get to the secret. In this secret, the player avoids the ghost John while breaking blocks indicated by small indents on the top or bottom of the large pillars that block the path.

Trivia

  • A few rooms show the Buzzsaw Cutter in the background, one of the other weapons Peppino has used during the development of the game.
  • One of the figures in the third background is wearing a slipper that resembles Snick.
  • The versions of Wasteyard in the demos originally used Yeehaw DeliveryBoy, the theme of Fast Food Saloon, as the music for the level.
  • In the Eggplant build, the music for the level is The Phantom Tower, a placeholder song.
  • The title card for this level, as well as for The Pig City, are the only ones that don't directly include Peppino, with the only inclusion being his hat for this one.
