Deep-Dish 9 is the eleventh level in Pizza Tower, and the third level of the Vacation Resort.

This level takes place in space, throughout a large spaceship, a grassy planet inhabited by sentient alien olives, and a planet made out of cheese. Its titlecard depicts Peppino in an astronaut outfit in the depths of space, driving an awkward spaceship labelled "Peppino Pizza 3000", as he fights several strange-looking aliens.

Collectables

The first Toppin is in the third room of the stage, in between two Asteroids. It will automatically be obtained if the player stays still after entering the room with Rocket Peppino.

The second Toppin is the reward for completing a short optional room inside of a door in the third room, soon after the Mushroom Toppin and first secret.

The third Toppin is in the second room of the outside area, visible to the player during the segment where the Rocket transformation needs to shift directions multiple times. The player can only break down the terrain of Breakable Blocks from the right.

The fourth Toppin is located in the room after Gerome and the second secret. It is in the player's natural path forward in the Rocket segment.

The final Toppin is one room after the Sausage Toppin, being in the natural path of the Rocket segment as well. It is behind the Asteroid that the player has to break to change directions anyway.

Gerome is located in the third room of the outside segment of the level, one room after the Tomato Toppin. Gerome is behind a Stupid Rat that can be destroyed by keeping the Rocket transformation from the previous room. The door to the is located in the first room of the level, being accessible during Pizza Time. When the player returns to the start of the stage, they must grab the rocket and proceed as normal to find a wall of John Blocks disappeared.

Secrets

The first secret is in the third room, very close to the Mushroom Toppin. The player needs to either use an Anti-gravitational Olive on the left to reach it, or simply climb up the wall and then destroy the Breakable Block. The eye is otherwise quite visible. In this secret, the player bounces on blocks with the Anti-gravitational Olive.

The second secret is in the third room of the outside section of the level, the same room as Gerome's location. The player needs to either super jump into the room from the center, or use an Anti-gravitational Olive from the bottom of the room. The secret is all the way at the top of the room. In this secret, the player uses Rocket Peppino to dodge the terrain and pick up toppings.

The final secret is in the second Rocket segment done after activating Pizza Time. When the player gets the Rocket, they must immediately turn left, which shatters the wall. In this secret, the player uses portals to continue to build momentum to smash Metal Blocks.

This section is dedicated to trivia and miscellaneous information about Deep-Dish 9.
Remember to read the wiki's trivia guidelines before adding trivia or making changes.
  • The level's name is a play-on-words of deep-dish pizza and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
    • It may have also been a reference to Star Trekkin' by The Firm. A part of Star Trekkin' includes a pizza spaceship.
  • This level was at first titled Space in April 2021 Build before getting its final name.
    • The final name was originally planned to be "Olive Intergalactic". However, during one of McPig's development streams, a Twitch user suggested a different name, which ended up sticking.
  • This level was supposed to be the first level where you can only play as one character, that being the Noise; however that was scrapped.
  • The green alien decoration was originally part of an old mechanic where you'd deliver a pizza to the alien's door.
  • The third secret is possibly inspired by the "Playing with Teleporters" section in the unused Space Pinball level.[1]
  • In the Chef Tasks, this level was alternatively stylized as Deep-Dish Nine.
