Fastfood Saloon is the eighth level in Pizza Tower, and the fourth level of the Western District.

It's a western-style, massive bar featuring races against Horsey and cards that give points when matched.

The level's titlecard peers through two batwing doors, showing Peppino sitting at a stool while dressed in a western-style outfit, looking anxiously, while a mirror reflects several Ranch Shooters behind him.

Collectables

Most of the Toppins in the level are located in Horsey races the player encounters naturally. These races are started by passing the horse. If the player reaches the checkered flag before the horse, the race is won and the Toppin is free to collect. If the player loses the race, the horse taunts the player and the Toppin is blocked off in a cage, inaccessible until the player retries the stage.

The first Toppin is rewarded to the player by completing the first horse race challenge. As the first and easiest race, all the player must do is continue dashing forward and up the wall.

The second Toppin is in the room where the player uses the second Weenie Mount. Riding the mount to the right side of the room by letting it run up the ramp allows the player to break a Stupid Rat blocking the otherwise visible Toppin.

The third Toppin is earned from the second horse race, in the room right after the Cheese Toppin. To win this race, it is recommended to ground pound to the lower area and wall run up the following section, as the fans are much too slow to reliably make it on time.

In the room right after the first Secret (the same room where the player grabs a Key), the player enters a third and final horse race. The player must use the Weenie Mount to run up ramps to get the mount to the higher section of the level, temporarily dismount to hit a button, then dash through a Stupid Rat to win the race.

In the room right after key room, the player needs to get the Weenie Mount transformation, riding it on the vents to get to the upper area. Once the player has hit the red button, they must run back down, and then destroy a Stupid Rat with it before the timer runs out and the gate closes. The fifth Toppin is behind the rat.

Gerome is located in the Pillar John room. The player needs to activate the Timed Gate by hitting the button behind John, and then immediately run up to where they came from to get to him. Gerome is completely visible to the player. The door to the is located in the room where the player got the Cheese Toppin. The player needs to roll through secret Breakable Blocks to the right of the Pepperman arcade machine.

Secrets

In the room with the key and lock signs, the player needs to run at Mach 2 at the corner of the ceiling marked with an eye. It is on the left corner, and the player must carry momentum by running into the Ventilator to get to the secret. This secret challenges the player to run on disappearing cheese bridges against button timers.

In the room with the key, the player needs to super jump or uppercut in the exact place where the key was to get to the secret. In this secret, the player must dash while being carried by Ventilators, flipping cards along the way.

Located during Pizza Time in the only open door on the path, located soon after the player is able to get the Tower Secret Treasure. The player needs to enter that section during Pizza Time to access an area previously blocked by John Blocks, and then run up the accessible wall to get to the secret. In this secret, the player encounters a fourth optional horse race.

Trivia

  • This level is a heavy retooling of the unused level Space Pinball. Space Pinball would eventually be merged into another unused level, Kung Fu, which then evolved into the version seen in the final game.
    • A reference to this original version can be seen on one of the decorations in the final game, which is a poster depicting an Olive on fire with text above that reads out "Space Pinball".
      • Several unique pinball machines can be seen throughout the level, as well, possibly as another nod to Fastfood Saloon's origins.
    • Space Pinball and Kung Fu's mechanics have, however, made their way into other parts of the game.
  • This level was at first titled Saloon in the PT_Eggplantv15 build before getting its final name.
