Pillar John is an "enemy" in Pizza Tower.

Description

Pillar John is a big long purple pillar with yellow eyes that looks like a Moai. He has a very distinguished forehead and a large nose.

Behaviour

He serves the purpose of starting the escape. He stands in one spot, usually near the end of the level. When ran into at high speeds, attacked directly, or having an enemy thrown at them, he'll die/collapse, beginning Pizza Time.

• Halloween Demo 2018: Lead access to the Tower Secret Treasure.
• Demo 2: Lead access to the Noise Satellite.
• Newer Demos: Trigger Pizza Time, allowing access to the level's exit.

Trivia

• Since PTG has said the pillars are named John, this would imply that they could be called "Pillar John", a possible reference to "Papa John's".

• His old purpose was to gain the Secret Treasure in older demos, where the player feeds him all 5 Toppins.
  • Some time before Demo 1, collecting all 5 Toppins and bringing them to him would instead magically give Peppino 5 pizza boxes to feed to him instead.

• During a Discord discuss, PTG said from Pillar John; "The lore explanation is that the gates are like portals to pocket dimensions, and what keeps the portal connected is the pillar you destroy in each level".
