Pizzaboy

Pizza Boi is an "enemy" in Pizza Tower.

Description

Pizza Boy is a cut-out of a cartoonish, humanoid pizza with a blue bow-tie. He's drawn with a pair of black friendly eyes, thin eyebrows, and a big red and stretched nose. Pizza Boy also has limbs for stabbing people wearing a pair of white gloves and shoes of the same color.

Behaviour

Since it's a cut-out, they can't do anything. They don't move, attack, or damage the player, but the player can damage them.

Despite being an enemy, it's the only one in the group that doesn't award points and start or add to a combo. These also apply to enemies that spawn from Pizza Box Generators. The earliest known appearance of these Pizza Boys was in Demo 1, again in the tutorial.

In later demos after Demo 1, namely GOLF, some would be revealed to be a Ninja Slice, who would jump at the player if they were to come near.

Currently, they're meant to get the player used to some of the game's mechanics, as the first time they are encountered, they are used as a way to show how Peppino's grab works.

Trivia

• Unlike every other enemy in the game, it is impossible for one of the enemy screams to play once this enemy is defeated, likely due to it being cardboard.
