WAR is the nineteenth and last level (excluding The Crumbling Tower of Pizza) in Pizza Tower, and the third level of Staff Only.
This level initially puts the player in an out-of-control battlefield, with the theme shifting to a secret laboratory which is overrun by Peppino Clones. Throughout the level, a bomb constantly ticks down whose timer has to be extended by destroying War Terminals.
The level's titlecard takes place in the battlefield, showing a closeup of Peppino's face as he screams in horror, while a grinning Peppino Clone wearing a helmet is running towards him.

Collectables
The second Toppin is located in the fourth room, in the player's normal path.
The third Toppin is in an unskippable corridor in the room after the Cheese Toppin.
The fourth Toppin is in the first indoors room, right next to the Stupid Rat at the end of the room.
The final Toppin is in the fourth lab room, to the right of where the player enters the room in plain sight.
Gerome is located very close to the Cheese Toppin, standing on an elevated platform in plain sight. The door to the
is visible on the player's path in the lab after the third secret, and is reached most easily by running up the wall with a target block on it.
Secrets
The first secret is in the room after the Tomato Toppin, in plain sight floating above a boost pad that sends the player backwards. In this secret, the player runs through Pizza Soldier armies.
The second secret is similarly placed to the first. It is out in the open above a boost pad in the room after the Sausage Toppin. In this secret, the player outruns Cardboard Tank shots.
The third secret is in the second lab room, visible out in the open directly after the Stupid Rat block. It can easily be reached with a wall run. In this secret, the player deals with a swarm of Peppino Clones.

Trivia
- WAR's main mechanic was completely different earlier in development, with the level originally being on Pizza Time for its entirety. In the final release, the timer is now a unique mechanic that starts when the player grabs a shotgun, which makes this stage the only one without a Pillar John, as well as the only stage with a timer that can be replenished and which counts down, even during secret areas.
- Furthermore, it's the only level in the whole game to not play The Death That I Deservioli on Lap 2 (not including boss levels or The Crumbling Tower of Pizza, which don't have Lap 2).
- Also, because the timer is not based on Pizza Time, the score does not decrease every second.
- Beating this level on the first attempt on any save file grants the player the War Camo outfit.
- The highest possible score in WAR is 24,106.
- This requires maintaining a combo of 95, which means killing every enemy in the level, resulting in 3,206 pizza points, as well as collecting every collectable (which consists of the secret treasure, pizza toppings, clocks, Toppins, big pizza toppings, bells, interacting with 3 of the Pizzasonas, pizza blocks, entering Lap 2, and taunting at the exit door 10 times) that results in 20,900 pizza points, as well as not getting hit throughout the entire level, which deducts 50 pizza points each time Peppino is hit.
- WAR used to be very different in development state:
- In April 2021 build, it used to be longer, it was originally in Pizza Time, the level used to have Cheeseslime, Swedish Monkey, Mini John, Pepperoni Goblin, Pizza Box Goblin, Flying Anchovy, U.F.Olive, Pineacool, Spit Cheese, Cannon Pizza Goblin, Noise Goblin, Pickle, Pizzard, Olive Trooper, Noisey, Pizza Slug, Shrimp Thug, Ninja Slice, Piraneapple, Pizza Soldier and Cardboard Tank.
- The level got completely reworked in the Rework build, removing all the enemies above except for Pizza Soldier and Cardboard Tank, as well as introducing the Kentucky Bomber and Peppino Clone enemies. However, the player can't beat the level due to the exit gate placed above the ground and there's no ground to stand on.
- It got reworked again in the Eggplant Build, getting closer to its final version; however, the level lacked secret and Treasure rooms.
- Gustavo uses Brick to shoot at random enemies to make it more helpful without needing to defeat them. In the final version, he only appears during specific sections.
